Prerequisite Requirements

RN applicants must complete prerequisite courses in algebra, biology (with a lab), chemistry (with a lab) and must take the ATI - Test of Essential Academic Skills Examination (TEAS). Applicants may contact the school to make an appointment to take the TEAS, after payment of the TEAS exam fee.

Prerequisite requirements may be met through high school or college course work. The courses must be completed with:

Grade of 75 or above for the high school level course
Grade of B required in non-credit bearing college level math and science course
Grade of C required in credit bearing college level math and science course

Science courses must include a lab component. Below is a listing of some institutions that offer the prerequisite courses.
