The birth of a new baby...what a special and exciting time! At the Family Birth Center, we believe that welcoming a newborn into the world is one of life's greatest joys. That's why we do everything possible to assure that yours is the experience that you've already dreamed of, and one that you'll treasure forever.

Family-Centered

The center is specially designed with the entire family in mind. Spacious labor/delivery/recovery rooms offer the privacy and warmth of a homelike setting and include a comfortable rocker, recliner, color TV, and private bath with hydrotherapy tubs and massage showers. Family members are invited to enjoy a cozy family room, complete with TV and kitchenette.

Our special web babies program allows you to showcase your newborn on our web site, so family and friends all over the world can see your new, little miracle!

Comfort-Focused

In addition to Jacuzzi tubs, the center also offers a variety of special amenities to make your labor as comfortable as possible, including: birthing balls, warm or cold packs, labor massage and aroma and music therapies.

Highly Skilled Staff

Families can be secure knowing that our staff of physicians, nurses and midwives have state-of-the-art technology at their fingertips. As trained providers of neonatal resuscitation, they're ready to offer skilled, specialized care, when needed. Epidurals and other anesthesia are available, upon request, 24 hours/day. And, a certified lactation consultant will assist you if you choose to breast feed.

More Than Just a Birthing Center

The Family Birth Center offers an array of other services, including ultrasound, amniocentesis and external fetal monitoring. We're also pleased to offer classes to help you, and your family, prepare for the birth of your new baby, including Lamaze, hypnobirthing, breast feeding, and infant safety and CPR.
