An Important Announcement

After nearly 20 years of providing outstanding rehabilitation services to the residents of Cohoes and surrounding communities, Eddy Cohoes Rehabilitation Center discharged its last patient on September 26, 2008.

Northeast Health's affiliation with Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady insures that patients who come to us for care will continue to receive the very finest acute rehabilitation care. And, for patients who who do not require intensive acute rehabilitation, Eddy Heritage House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy will provide comprehensive sub-acute rehabilitation on a dedicated rehabilitation unit. And, as always, Eddy Visiting Nurse Association will continue to provide rehabilitation care in the home-setting.

We also look forward to the opening, later this year, of Eddy Village Green on the Cohoes campus. The first community of its kind in New York State, Eddy Village Green is a new way of providing nursing home care and will feature 16 ranch-style homes, each accommodating 12 residents.
