The Karen L. Mosseau Fund
Karen Mosseau believed that all individuals with cancer should be afforded access to integrative medicine and therapies such as acupuncture, massage, reiki therapy, nutritional and psychosocial counseling; all of which insurance companies either do not reimburse for, or provide inadequate reimbursement. All of these modalities provided Karen with comfort and support as she lived with breast cancer. Karen passed away in 2005 at the age of 38; leaving behind not only 2 young boys and a loving husband, but a host of family and friends who have dedicated themselves to achieving her vision. In 2007 we were able to raise over $20,000 dollars that would directly benefit our patients living with cancer. We look forward to having you join us and support us in 2008.
